My 4th Big Help Art Trophy in a row...

This year again I participated in a Drawing contest conducted by BigHelp on their annual meet to celebrate Pongal and Republic day Celebrations at Canton High School on Jan, 5, 2013. This year also I took BigHelp theme and did this drawing which won me 2nd Prize in the category of 5th and 6th graders.

This time, the idea was to help kids become starts of the nation. Providing education is a BIG HELP in achieving this goal. I took the BIG HELP logo and portrayed Goddess Saraswathi to represent Education and drew a bird rising and flying to become the start of the nation. The same BIG HELP logo is used to show a kid becoming START of the nation.

This time the caption of my drawing was Educating kids is a BIG way of HELP making future starts of the nation!, by highlighting BIG HELP in it. I used water color pencils this time. My Dad introduced me to water color pencils and I enjoyed it.

As usual, my Dad was the first one to Congratulate me and said "Congratulations Bhuvan! You did it fourth time in a row". But I was little disappointed at the result, I was hoping for the 1st prize. All my friends and parents said my Art work deserved a 1st place.

It was an all day fun event. I also participated in Mat Bee, but I have never been serious about this competition. At the end I had so much of fun with all my friends.

I am back to Soccer this season ay YMCA again...

My team name is Chile and we are playing against only one team this season, Argentina Team. We have Orange Jersey this time and I like the color. So far we played 4 games and we have 4 more to go.
Game-1, Game-2 and Game team were tie with 0-0 score and we won Game-3 by 4 to 0. I scored one in goal in Game-4. Both the teams are good now and Argentina is very good at defense. They have many good players. I am putting my best efforts to learn the game. As usual I have my brother Rithvik and my Dad cheering outside the filed when I a am on the field.

I lost my second tooth

I lost my second tooth on 09/09/09 (Sep 09, 2009). The tooth fairy came in that night and I found a FIVE dollar bill under my pillow the next morning.

Magadheera...

We went to India this summer for vacation. We saw Magadheera movie in Nellore. I did Magadheera drawing when I was there. The knife in the hand is my imagination.

My First Grade - last day at the Robinson School...

Today is my last day at the school for this year. We have had lot of Fun this year at the school. I love my school and my teacher Ms. DiSangro. I am excited to spend my holidays with my brother and family.

Here are some memories captured:

My Thank You card to my teacher. I drew my teacher teaching Math and myself sitting in the classroom. :)

The best part of today, I won Bentley Bear in the raffle. Bentley Bear was on rotation going home once a night every week with one of Ms.DiSangro's class students. I am happy that I won him in the raffle. He will stay with us now forever. My brother Rithvik already gave him a warm welcome at home and introduced her to our other toys. I am going to have fun with Bentley! :)

Father's Day in my calss...

We celebrated Father's Day in our class today. All dads visited us today. I had a good time with my Dad for an hour. I gave him little tour of the School, showed him my favorite place in the playground, played basketball with my dad, showed him Art classroom, gym, cafeteria and also gave him a little tour of my classroom. I also had Sundae at the Cafeteria with my Dad. This is my best day in the School this year.

Game-5 (Germany vs Italy)

This is our (Germany) last game (versing Italy) for this season and we really had an awesome game. The Italy team was the best team that we played with this season. Their defense was really good, and I liked the way their team was moving on the field, they were all moving together. Especially at the goal, they were really close together protecting it. Their coach was really good too.

We lost this game. We scored 4 goals and Italy scored 6. It was tie until the last session and in the last session they scored 2. I was out for the last session on break and only could do some shouting 'go Germany, go Germany, go, go, go... ah we lost it!'.

I was out most of this game on breaks. I scored 2 goals when I was in offense and managed to send Italy team away from our goal with several BIG kicks.

Hahn...at the end we lost the game, our first ever game we lost in this season. We were unbeatable until this game; but it was the best game we had this season. Good game Italy!!!

I miss these games a lot. I wish we had more games. I hope to come back with my best again next year. Until then enjoy my Arts works again. :)

Game-4 (Germany vs Brazil)

Today, we played the game only for a little time as we had a picture session in the beginning. Usually we used to have a 15 min. practice session followed by 45 min. Game. Today we only played for 25 min. We (Germany) won the game against Brazil 5 to 2. I scored 3 goals.

Game-2 (Germany vs Spain)

Today, we (Germany) had a very good game versing Spain. The Spain team was very good. All of the players were really good. I think this is the best team we have versed so far. I opened the goals by scoring the very first one. We scored 8 goals out of which I scored 6. Spain scored 3.

I got hurt at one point and was out for few minutes. The rest of my game was more careful and scored more goals. Good Game!!!

Everybody enjoyed today's game. Today is Mother's day and I am happy because my mom come down to watch my game.

Today, we (Germany) have had a good game versing Portugal. We scored 7 goals and Portugal scored 1. I scored 5 out of 7 goals.

This is my best goal of the game so far. My dad was so proud of capturing this awesome goal by me.

Spring 2009- Soccer Game season is back again...

Hi Friends,
This 2009 spring, I am back to my favorite sport Soccer at YMCA again. I am going to play my next 6 games at Hockomock, YMCA, Foxboro. This season, I am playing for the team "Germany". We are going to play against Mexico, Italy, Spain, Brazil, and Portugal starting from today. We are versing Portugal today. I am all geared up with lots of new energy and excitement. I will try to give my best, score more goals and learn more about the game.

Let's have fun again!

My First ever prticipation in a Drawing Contest...

I participated in a Drawing Contest conducted by Telugu Association of Greater Boston (TAGB) on the occasion of Sankranthi Celebrations (a festival of harvesting) and won First Prize for my above drawing. I am very happy and just want to share this moment with my family and friends.

I enjoyed the competition and it was great to know the very special festival: Sankranthi. My Dad told me all about the festival and how it used to be celebrated during his childhood days. I could visualize the festival and felt like it is a great fun for Kids. I hope I will experience this festival in India in my future.
